chapter twenty three

Jem and I was both worried about the threats that Bob had made to Atticus, although he wasn't. Tom Robinson had been sent to a different jail and Atticus felt okay about this. Atticus had said that one of the Cunninghams had tried to get Tom some slack but when I asked Atticus if I could invite Walter over for supper Aunt Alexandra tells me that the Finch's don't mess around or talk to trash. Jem had to walk me out of the room where I wouldn't get to fired up.
