chapter twenty one

Calpurina walked into the court room and delivered a note to Atticus and tells him that he has not been home since noon. Someone tells him that we are in the colored section and he tells us to go home and eat supper. We beg him to let us stay to hear the verdict, but he tells us to follow Calpurnia home and eat supper and that we could come back later.
